A message from Angelica & Mo

Mo and Angelica's love story began in the heart of a bustling hospital, where the chaotic atmosphere of the emergency department couldn't dim the sparks between them. Despite the 15-year age gap and Mo's four kids, their connection was undeniable.

 

As they worked side by side, their friendship blossomed into something deeper. Mo's caring nature, honed by raising his children, touched Angelica's heart. And Angelica's vivacity and joy brought a renewed sense of youth to Mo's life.

 

Through laughter and making new stories, they discovered their mutual love for dogs. They decided to add two furry companions to their life, Vinny and Petey, who quickly became the heart of their little family.

 

As time passed, their bond only grew stronger. The hospital walls bore witness to their budding romance, as they stole glances and held hands when no one was looking. Four years of love, support, and understanding led them to this joyous day—standing hand in hand, ready to embark on a new chapter as they pledged their love to each other in matrimony.

 

Their love story is one of blending families, bridging generations, and cherishing every moment together. With the love and loyalty, they share for each other and their furry friends, Mo and Angelica know that they are ready to face whatever life throws their way, hand in hand, forever united.

 

We understand that attending our destination wedding is a big commitment, which we greatly apprecaiate and only hope to see everyone there. Because of this, we are asking for no gifts please and that your presence is the only present we need!

Thursday, May 23: Guest arrive. Welcome drinks with the bride and groom!

Friday, May 24: Enjoy the resort. Rehearsal dinner, bachelor/bachelorette night!

Saturday, May 25: Wedding Day! Ceremony at 3 PM with the Reception to follow at 6:30 PM. Attire: Beach Casual. Please no bathing suits. 

Sunday, May 26: Brunch with the newlyweds and possible excursion day or just relax.

Monday, May 27: Enjoy the resort!

Tuesday, May 28: Guest depart. Thank you for celebrating with us!

Even if you’re not 100% sure you can make the trip and want to get more info, please fill out the RSVP form. This will give us all the information we need to give you an accurate rate.

2. Submit your deposit. Once you’ve completed the RSVP form, you will automatically be directed to the page to submit your deposit. Please remember that pricing and availability are not guaranteed until a deposit has been made. We will not book your hotel room without a deposit. If you wish to make occasional or monthly payments, please use the same link.

Our three hotels share a series of services for all our customers. These include Coco’s Night Club, Conference Centre, Casino, Sports Bar, Majestic Fast Food Corner, Splash Kids Club and our Catholic Chapel, conveniently located on our Caribbean Street, between Majestic Colonial and Elegance.

One Bedroom Suite  - King Bed or 2 Queen Beds

Our 1000 sq. ft. One Bedroom Suites with a Jacuzzi have a lounge separate from the main bedroom, a bathtub and feature an outdoor jacuzzi with a view of the pool.

Swim Up Suite - King Bed or 2 Queen Beds

The 1000 sq. ft. Family Club Swim Up Suites (Outdoor Jacuzzi) are located on the first floor to ground floor and are equipped with 1 king-size or 2 queen-size beds, a bathtub, an outdoor jacuzzi, and a private garden with direct access to the pool.

Majestic Club (Adults Only 18+)

One Bedroom Suites - King Bed or 2 Queen Beds

Our Mirage Club One Bedroom Suites (Outdoor Jacuzzi) is 1,000 sqft and feature a separate lounge and bedroom, 1 king-size or 2 queen-size beds, a bathtub and an outdoor jacuzzi.

Swim Up Suite - King Bed or 2 Queen Beds

Our 1000sq sq. ft. Mirage Club Swim Up Suites (Outdoor Jacuzzi) are located on the ground floor of the building and feature a terrace with a Jacuzzi and a private garden with direct access to the pool. 

Ocean View Suite - King Bed or 2 Queen Beds

Our 1000 sq.ft. Mirage Club Ocean View Suites (Outdoor Jacuzzi) are equipped with a king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds and have a separate lounge and bedroom fitted with a bathtub and outdoor jacuzzi.

Majestic Mirage is a sister property to Majestic Colonial & Majestic Elegance. Majestic Mirage is located to the left of the other resorts. Guests can enjoy many of the same amenities and will have access to most of the same restaurants, bars, and activities.

Double Occupancy Rates

Rates are per person, based on two people sharing a room. Rates include hotel and shared airport transfers. 

Airfare and travel insurance are additional.

Family Club:

One Bedroom Suite for 4 nights - $742.00 per person. Additional nights are $185.50 per night.

Swim Up Suite for 4 nights - $866.00 per person. Additional nights are $216.50 per night.

Children Rates (2 - 12 years old at time of travel) for 4 nights - $356.00 per child. Additional nights are $89.00 per night.*

*Children must be 2 - 12 years at the time of travel. Please note that Child Rates (2-12 years) applicable when sharing a room with two (2) paying adults. 

Mirage Club:

One Bedroom for 4 nights - $742.00 per person. Additional nights are $185.50 per night.

Swim Up Suite for 4 nights - $866.00 nights. Additional nights are $216.50 per night.

Oceanview Suite for 4 nights - $928.00 per person. Additional nights are $232.00 per night.

Children (12 years and under) Rates

Rates are based on the age of a child if they are 12 years and under at the time of travel (May 2024). 

Family Club Child Rate for 4 nights - $356.00 per child. Additional nights are $89.00 per night.

Single Occupancy Rates

Rates are based on one person in a room by themselves.  Rates include hotel and shared airport transfers.

Airfare and travel insurance are additional.

Family Club:

One Bedroom Suite for 4 nights - $1,270.00 per person. Additional nights are $317.50 per night.

Swim Up Suite for 4 nights - $1,488.00 per person. Additional nights are $372.00 per night.

Mirage Club:

One Bedroom for 4 nights - $1,270.00 per person. Additional nights are $317.50 per night.

Swim Up Suite for 4 nights - $1,488.00 nights. Additional nights are $372.00 per night.

Oceanview Suite for 4 nights - $1,595.00 per person. Additional nights are $398.75 per night. 

PLEASE NOTE:  If you initially book a room alone, it will be at the single-occupancy rate.  If at any point before final payment, you add someone to your room, your rate will automatically change to the double-occupancy rate.

Flight info

You'll be flying into the Punta Cana airport. The airport code is PUJ. 

At Bliss Honeymoons, we have access to both the same published fares that you see online as well as contracted rates.

Given the challenges in the airline industry, we encourage you to book your flights directly with the airline. If you want to discuss your flights more or want us to send you specific flight suggestions, please select this option on your RSVP form.

Your reservation includes airport transfers, but we cannot book your transfers without your flight details.

Please be sure to submit your flight information no less than 45 days before departure. 

Make sure to book your flights for the same days as your hotel reservation! Please double-check your hotel check-in and check-out dates as you are researching flights and before actually booking your airfare. Included transfers apply only to your check-in and check-out dates and are roundtrip between the airport and the hotel. 

Here are some tips on booking airfare:

  • Direct flights ensure more seamless and less stressful travel so consider booking a direct flight, even if it is a little more expensive.
  • If you do have to book a flight with a layover, please pay close attention to the layover times. Airlines are notorious for allowing short layovers with a very high likelihood of missing the connection. While no one wants to sit around the airport for hours, you also don’t want the headache of missing your layover because of a short connection. We suggest choosing a schedule that has at least 1.5 hours on the way to your destination. On your way home, we suggest at least 2 hours to give extra time to get through immigration.
  • Pick an arriving flight as early in the day as you prefer so that you have more time at your destination.
  • For your returning flight, the ground transportation company will often pick you up four to five hours before your flight time so pick as late a departing flight as your schedule allows.
  • Some airlines provide tickets that can be changed or canceled without a fee, such as Main Cabin fares. This costs a bit more upfront but can be helpful for unforeseen changes in your schedule.
  • Again, verify your hotel check-in and check-out dates while you are researching flights and just before you book your airfare.

Baggage Fees:  Baggage fees are not included and must be paid directly to the airline. Please refer to the airline’s website for charges. If you have a TSA precheck number or frequent flyer number, you will add it to your reservation directly through the airline’s website. 

Please note! It’s not uncommon for your first and middle name to appear as one long name on the airline’s website. If this happens, don’t panic! Just check in as you usually would.

Airport Transfers

Round trip transportation between the hotel and the airport are included in the package.

Once you have cleared customs and collected your bags, please proceed outside to the shuttle area. Please do not stop inside the terminal and accept assistance from another party. The parties inside the airport are timeshare salespeople.

Your transfers are shared, non-stop transfers. If you prefer private transfers, they are available for $160.00, round trip.

Once you have exited the terminal look for the Amstar Travel Rep. They will be wearing a blue flowered shirt and khaki pants as well as holding a sign for Amstar Travel.

Travel Insurance and cancellation policy

If you are attending a destination wedding, chances are you are booking several months in advance.

Travel Insurance

  • While we are sure you have every intention of making the trip, life can be unpredictable.
  • The months between the deposit and your anticipated travel date could bring a job change, illness, or other circumstances preventing you from traveling. We have seen it all!
  • Purchasing travel insurance is a smart investment that will protect you from financial loss.
  • Most medical insurance policies do not offer coverage outside the United States, we do not recommend traveling without travel insurance.
  • Travel insurance covers trip delays, trip cancellations, some medical coverage, lost luggage, and more.
  • Travel insurance allows you to cancel for any covered reason and receive a full refund.
  • Uncovered reasons are covered up to 75%.

  • Airfare must be booked by Bliss to be included in your travel insurance coverage.
  • If you book your air independently, we do offer a policy that will cover both your land and air. Please ask us for more info.
  • Please note that all guests in a room will have to get travel insurance if elected. If a guest is changed within a room, the travel insurance cannot be transferred over to the new guest and a new policy will need to be purchased.

Travel Insurance is just $185.00 per person for adults. If your travel cost exceeds $2,000 per person, we will provide you with a separate quote for travel insurance. 

The child rate for travel insurance is $75.00 per child. This rate is for children 12 years and under at the time of travel. 

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

  • The cost of the trip is not refundable. We urge you to purchase travel insurance to protect yourself from financial loss.
  • Please note! Once final payment has been made, no refunds are issued for a reduction in the number of nights, room category, or the number of people in your party. If you have travel insurance, we can assist you with filing a claim for any reductions. This may incur a change fee.
  • Penalties apply to all bookings. However, if you have travel insurance, you can recoup these losses by filing a claim with travel insurance.
  • Please also note! The cost of travel insurance is not refundable for any reason.

COVID FAQ

Please note the last major update from the USA on travel restrictions due to COVID was on May 12, 2023. Policies could change between now and your departure date and any updates will be posted here. 

Q. Is a COVID test required to enter the Dominican Republi?

A. At this time, there is no test required. You do not have to take a COVID test or complete a health form to enter the DR. 

Q. What happens if there is a travel ban?

A. In case of a travel ban, we would move the wedding date. We will make every effort to ensure that everyone in the group can keep the same room and number of nights at the current group rate. 

Q. Does the travel insurance cover us if we decide to cancel due to fear of COVID?

A. Our travel insurance is a "cancel for any reason" policy. Covered reasons are covered at 100%. Uncovered reasons are covered at 75%. Canceling due to fear of COVID is no different than canceling for fear of spiders and falls under the provision of the uncovered reasons. There is a link to the policy in the insurance section above. Please review the policy for covered and uncovered reasons.

Q. If there is a travel ban, aren’t the hotels and airlines required to give us a full refund?

No, they are not required to offer a refund for anything that falls under force majeure, such as government shutdowns, war, pandemics, or acts of God. We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance to protect yourself from financial loss.

Fun Things To Do In Dominican Republic

We offer a lot of great excursions in Punta Cana!

  • We recommend that you pre-book your excursions and are working with Angelica & Mo on one or two planned excursions for the group.
  • By booking your excursions in advance you won’t have to worry about exchange rates, getting closed out of something that you really want to do, or getting stuck in a timeshare presentation when you thought you were going zip lining!
  • Most of our excursions include transportation, or we can arrange for ground transportation.
